Avid fans of Kapuso stars Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, known as the AlDub Nation, has again proven that they still rule Twitter.
After the first teaser of the first drama of AlDub debuted on the national television, it became the top trending topic garnering thousands of tweets right after it has been released.
In the teaser, Aden and Maine can be seen in the art gallery viewing different artworks. However, their backs were turned away from each other, which is why their paths did not cross. The teaser then posed a question: “Are they destined for each other?”
The phenomenal love team of Alden and Maine continues to make rounds on the social media, as the teaser of their upcoming teleserye makes it to the top trending tweets on Twitter.
Following the first release of the GMA’s upcoming primetime series, “Destined To Be Yours,” has reportedly gained thousands of the tweets just an hour after its trailer has been released.
The two found fame after they were paired in ‘Kalyeserye’ as Alden and Yaya Dub, which has led to their famous moniker ‘AlDub.’
Maine is paired up with Alden Richards in Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye. Wherein she played the role as Lola Nidora’s nanny that accompanies her everywhere she goes.
In the July episode, while doing her Dubsmash skills, Alden’s face was splashed on the screen, and the rest is history.
Since the couple has broken the internet in 2015, they have retained their stature in the social media.
‘Destined To Be Yours,’ the highly anticipated Aldub teleserye that will air on the Philippine television this February.
No formal announcement has been made about its airing date, but the buzz is that it will air on February 27, to replace Dingdong Dante’s action series “Alyas Robin Hood.”
Twitter had reportedly revealed that the “Phenomenal love team” AlDub had been highly influential on the social media site.
