During the Philippine National Police’s mass wedding, PNP Director General Ronald “Bato” de la Rosa told the wives of the policemen that they should not pressure their husband to buy expensive stuff because it is one of the major reasons why policemen were involved in illegal activities and corruption.

Dela Rosa also said that family member and wives of the erring policemen should not be blamed for the irresponsible actions of the corrupt cops. The responsibilities and actions of the cops will be fully charged to themselves.
