Pacquiao Asked Fans To Select His Next Opponent For Title Defense Match

Filipino boxing superstar Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao asked his fan to choose his opponent for his next title defense match in the United Arab Emirates.

On Monday (February 13, 2017), Pacman asked his followers on Twitter to choose his next opponent for his title defense match. The Filipino boxer asked his 108, 000 followers in Tweeter to choose either Amir Khan, Terence Crawford, Kell Brook, and Horn.

Pacquiao posted on Tweeter that his next fight will be in UAE. Last month Bob Arum, Pacquiao’s promoter told the international media that Manny would fight the undefeated Australian Jeff Horn, on April 23, 2017.

Queensland tourism minister explained that they were already negotiating for hosting the next match of Manny. The 38-year-old boxer posted on his social media accounts that his next opponent could still be Horn, it could be also Briton’s Khan or Brook or may be the American Crawford.

The match between Pacquiao and Horn has been making rounds in the social media last month, according to the report. The contracts had not yet signed, according to Manny.

“We are still negotiating about that. Nothing is really final, the date, who is the opponent. There are a lot of offers from other countries,” said by Pacquiao quoted by Inquirer.

Manny had a successful comeback in the ring last month after defeating Jessie Vargas. Last year, the Filipino boxer announced his retirement due to conflict of his senatorial duties, but later on, he decided to come back to boxing.
