Unplanned Road Infrastructures Of DPWH Draw Flaks From Netizens
Netizens react on the alleged unplanned and rushed road infrastructures, where electrical posts were standing in the middle highway in Zamboanga.
Road infrastructures must be well-planned and should be done properly in order to provide safety and convenience on the road. It also requires accuracy in measurements and surveys in the area based on the proper procedure of construction.
Electrical posts usually constructed and erected on the side of the road, in order to clear the way out from blockage and hindrances to avoid accidents. Roads also must be constructed out of blockages for faster travel and transportation.
Bayan Mo, Ipatrol Mo, posted photos of electrical posts standing in the middle of the road in Zamboanga. Some netizen said that the posts were already erected in the area, the road infrastructure was constructed before the electrical posts.
Netizens were blaming the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in the area for the construction of the road, where electrical posts can be found at the center of the highway. This case seems unusual and can be concluded this infrastructure project was obviously rushed and unplanned.
The actions of some government officials regarding this projects show irresponsibility. Their mistakes can lead motorists to accidents and instead of giving them convenience it might give them another burden passing through the said road.
