February 5, 2017 is the 22nd anniversary of the ASAP. The show also celebrates with the return of one of its original hosts, former Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres who also reunites with ‘The Pure Energy’ Gary Valenciano and ‘Concert king’ Martin Nievera.
The huge comeback of the Dayanara Torres was the main highlights of the show’s anniversary that left thousands of stars and even the veteran ASAP performers in astonished.
Puerto Rican beauty queen wows the audience as she moves like a 20-year old dancer in her solo performance. She then accompanied by the ”Pure Energy” Gary Valenciano and performed their signature hit number, ‘Hataw Na.’
Now that she is back in her second home, Torres proves that she still has the moves as she grooved her way on her ASAP performance that lasted over eight minutes.
Dayanara Torres found fame in the Philippines when she came in 1994 to crown her successor Sushmita Sen. During her stay, she fall-in-love with the Filipinos and it also gave her the opportunity to work in the Philippine industry.
While in the Philippines, she became one of the top celebrities and stayed in the country for 5 years. She starred in 10 movies and paired with the Philippines top actors Aga Muhlach and Gary Valenciano.
