Miss Thailand, Chalita “Namtan” Suansane, was the lucky 13th candidate that was called by the host Steve Harvey to advance for the Miss Universe Competition.
She claimed the spot over a million fans voted her to get through for the competition.
Miss Thailand capture the hearts of the online community and became the crowd favorite.
During the biggest and prestigious competition, Miss Thailand is a stunner and considered as a strong contender on the Miss Universe pageant’s coronation day.
But aside from her strong personality, she proves that “there is more to beauty than just the physical appearance”.
According to Miss Universe, Chalita is a volunteer at ‘Baan Home Hug,’ an orphanage who was reportedly have inherited HIV, abused and have lost their families.
Chalita also shared her platform if she wins the Miss Universe crown, she will raise an awareness and help those people who have HIV and AIDS.
This brave and strong woman wants to be an inspiration for all the woman as she posted a photo of her on social media that reveals her inspirational story.
According to the Facebook post of Chalita, at the age of 4, she already helps out her mother in earning money.
“Holding the heart of your country, to a competition with 85 lovely ladies around the universe is a tough battle. To be confidently beautiful and make my country proud Is my goal to hopefully be crowned as Miss Universe,” she wrote in her Facebook post.
Chalita’s Facebook post caught the attention of the online community and went viral.
Many Filipinos were touched and were inspired by her story.
According to her Miss Universe Bio, Chalita wants to be an inspiration for young women everywhere. She wants to be a good role model to all that “Fulfilling your passions, having respect, and being compassionate to others will make you confidently beautiful in your own way.
Chalita’s Miss Universe journey ended after she failed to advance to the final three finalists of the competition. But she showed her supporters that she did her best to make her country proud.
