Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres took to social and shared her happiness while eating her “favorite, favorite, favorite Filipino food.”
Torres is not a Filipino and actually a Puerto Rican, but she fall in love with the Filipino people and in classic Pinoy dish.
The Puerto Rican beauty queen stayed in the Philippines for several years, where she became an actress and endorser.
Torres came to the Philippines in 1994 and she fell so in love with the country. So she decided to stay for a few years after she passed her crown.
In a recent Instagram post of the former Miss Universe queen, she shared a video of her reaction while eating her favorite Filipino food “Sinigang na Baboy.”
She can be seen in the video enjoying and being contented eating her bowl of ‘Sinigang na baboy.’ She describes the Pinoy dish as her favorite because it’s delicious.
Dayanara shared that she is happy to be back in the Philippines. She shared on her Instagram page her immense love for a popular Pinoy dish.
“This is sinigang na baboy, my favorite, favorite, favorite food from the Philippines. So delicious! Love it! Sarap ! So happy right now,” the beauty queen said.
The short video of the Puerto Rican beauty queen caught the attention of the Pinoy online community. In fact, some of the netizens were quick and appreciated Torres’ reaction while eating her Sinigang na baboy.
“Omg I love your reaction yani I can tell you really miss Filipino food and also the Philippines we can’t wait to see your come back in asap,” netizen said.
Other social media users also expressed their excitement over Torres’ possible return to Philippine showbiz.
After returning to the Philippines, Torres wasted no time and started enjoying her Filipino food again.
