Andanar’s Office Huge Hidden Budget Exposed By Pinoy Ako Blog

Pinoy Ako Blog has exposed Martin Andanar’s huge budget on the Presidential Communication Office, which was hidden from the public.

Martin Andanar was a former journalist and reporter on GMA before he transferred to TV5, during the administration of former President Benigno Aquino III. He was appointed as a public official when Duterte took his office last year.

Most people were trusting Andanar due to his legacy as a journalist, who always reveal the truth. People thought that Andanar would be transparent in giving information to the public as a member of media, but all of it goes to disappointment.

Andanar is now accusing Inquirer, Rappler, Philippine Star, and other media outlet were making fake stories about him. He also explained that the several videos in the past, proving his alleged involvement in corruption was misinterpreted.

The blog site also cited the news released by Rappler previously that Andanar was using the budget since last year to pay his propagandist. Andanar’s budget distribution was questioned by the blog. Here are the total budget and distribution list, taken from the documents on the Office’ budget.

The total budget for the president communication office is P231, 304, 000-M, which is already a large amount for the office. P40-M from the total budget will go for the travel expenses, P17-M will be spent for communication expenses.

P19-M will go to the professional services and another P22-M will be spent for other maintenance and operating expenses. The amount allocated for its allocation were too big for its expenses. The blog also explained that P231, 304, 000 can already build homes for the homeless people, scholarship for students, and can provide enough foods for poor families in the country.

The blog also told Andanar that change is not too late for him and he must not let the system overwhelmed his entire personality. It also reminds him the credibility of being a journalist.
