Miss Universe 2016 Preliminary Competition: Evening Gown
All 86 beautiful candidates of the 65th Miss Universe 2016 showcases their swimsuit and evening gown during the Preliminary competition.
The much-awaited event was held on Thursday, January 26, 2017. The Miss Universe 2016 candidates walked down the Mall of Asia Arena stage for the swimsuit and evening gown segments of the show.
The event was the ever-important Preliminary Competition of the 2016 Miss Universe Beauty Pageant. During this event, the Judges decides who among the candidates will be on the top 12 Semi-Finalists and will be named on the Finals night to be the next Miss Universe queen.
During the Preliminaries, the 80 contestants from all over the world competed in both Swimsuit and Evening Gown.
Most of the girls did everything manage to pull out their best to have a good performance, there was one performance that impressed our experts the most and one performance that disappointed a lot.

The end of the evening gown competition also ended the show.
In less than a week, a new Miss Universe Queen will take over the crown from the current title holder Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach from the Philippines.
As the competition is going to the finals night, the candidates are not wasting a day to train harder than ever. All are doing their best and everything to win the crown.
All the scores from the preliminary competition and along with an interview portion will help to determine the Top 12 candidates in the Miss Universe coronation event to be held at 8 a.m. on January 30, also at the Mall of Asia Arena.
