A netizen posted a photo of an insanely long line of Singaporeans at Chinatown for the popular Lim Chee Guan bak kwa (barbecued pork).

Singaporeans were a fan of many things such as the most popular virtual reality game “Pokemon Go”, which becomes a mania in the country. This 2017, the mania rises for the popular bak kwa, which becomes a popular food during the Chinese New Year season.

Bak Kwa is a famous salty-sweet dried meat, which originated from China. This food was traditionally made of pork and prepared with spices, sugar, soy sauce, and salt. Then the meat will be dried on racks at around 60 degree Celsius.

Buyers were already waiting for long hours and endure hardships on the store just to bought a mouth-watering bak kwa. Some of them have prepared chairs, stools, and cardboard boxes for the long queue just to have this delicious food.

Some people brought huge bags and containers for buying a large amount of this meat to be enjoyed during the Chinese New Year season. The line for the famous Lim Chee Guan bak kwa at China was around 100 meters long, according to a stomper Caseyakahzg.
