In January 7 episode of the Steve Harvey show, the comedian opened his show poking fun at embarrassing dating guides like Dating for Under a Dollar and How to Date a White Woman: A Practical Guide for Asian Men.
Wherein the comedian laughed about the idea of white or black women ever being attracted to Asian men.
Many people are not finding his joke funny.
The video of the episode was now widely circulating on the social media. The video shows that the host laughed at the concept of a white woman dating an Asian man and finding him attractive.
“Excuse me, do you like Asian men? No. Thank you,” Harvey said. Then he also said that black women wouldn’t be attracted to Asian men, either.
“How to Date a Black Woman: A Practical Guide to Asian Men,” he says. “Same thing. You like Asian men? I don’t even like Chinese food. It don’t stay with you no time … I don’t eat what I can’t pronounce.” he added.
However, the clip went viral on the social media and earned different reactions from the netizens.
The host became the hot trend topic over the social media and faced backlash for making racist punchlines at the expense of the Asian community.
