FDA: Cancer-Causing Arsenic Found On Chicken Meat
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Associated President proves that chicken meat contains Cancer-Causing Arsenic-based on their examinations.
Most of us love to eat chicken meat because it is one of the most popular foods in the world due to its mouth-watering taste. Chicken is also very popular worldwide because most of the fast-food chains and restaurants offer chicken dishes.
FDA announced that chicken meat contains a harmful substance, which causes cancer after the examination performed on some chicken meats from stores in the United States alone. The agency found a substance inside the chicken meat called “Arsenic,” a toxic chemical that could create cancer.
Arsenic were injected on animals. for faster weight gain and less feed consumption. This substance was used in meats of hogs, turkey, and chickens for a bigger income. FDA discovered that 70 percent of chickens in U.S were containing this substance.
Arsenic is the most toxic and dangerous chemical that can be found in the liver of this animals. This chemical also makes the meat appear to have their natural healthy color. This inorganic substance was feed to the chicken but last July 2016, Pfizer was urged by FDA to stop the production of Roxarsone, an arsenic-containing drug fed to the animals.
This substance has damaging effects to the body and it is one of the largest factors for the occurrence of cancer cells according to the warning issued by the University of South Carolina Department of Environmental Health Sciences.
