In this modern-day, many people especially the younger generations were a big fan of high technology devices such as smartphones, tablet, laptop, and other portable gadgets. Communications and doing certain task becomes easier with the help of modern technology.
In the past decades, many people were using flip phones, video game cartridge, obsolete computer units, and other technology in the past. Those devices in the past are far from the present devices we have today. Here are some technology devices that we might have been used in the past.
Obsolete Cell Phone Units
Many people have been used the black and white version of cell phones. Even spending several hours in composing their own ringtones, logo, and securing the high scores on the built-in games in their phone.
Dial-up Internet Tone
This sound usually occurs when you begin to connect on the internet by using a telephone network and modem.
Floppy Disk
This is a type of disk storage, which is made up of thin and flexible magnetic storage. Floppy disk has limited use and storage unlike the modern technology, which offers larger storage capacity such as USB flash drive, external hard disk drive, and ROM cartridge.
VHS or Betamax
This is the older version of what we called “DVD” today. It is a rectangular shaped tape which is used to watch movies and films.
Portable CD or Cassette Player
The young people during 80’s and 90’s were using this device to listen on their favorite music but today people were already using MP3/MP4 player or mobile devices to play their favorite song.
Beeper
This device was used in the past to communicate with each other before the era of instant messaging or texting exist.
