Nunes Spoiled Rousey’s UFC Comeback Fight In 2017 Reclaiming Bantamweight Title

Ronda Rousey, a mixed martial arts fighter will claim the bantamweight title and fight again for the first time in UFC after her loss to Holly Holm in 2015.

The 29-year-old fighter from Los Angeles will have her comeback fight in UFC 2017 and claim the bantam weight title again. Rousey did not fight again since she was defeated in 2015. A year after her loss she decided to fight against Amanda Nunes.

Rousey kept in low profile in her next fight and decline to accept an interview. But Nunes said in an interview that she knows how to stop Rousey for she’s now very focused and excited for their upcoming match.

“I am very focused and I know how I am going to stop her. I can’t wait,” said by Nunez of Brazil to Los Angeles Times.

Rousey’s successful career as mixer martial arts fighter with 12 consecutive wins was shattered by Holm by defeating Rousey in 2015. Ronda’s match on Friday (December 30, 2016) will be her 14th match, while Nunes had fought for 17 times already including her 4 losses.

Ronda is also one of the biggest stars of MMA who helped to expand the sports worldwide, she is also a former Olympic judo medalist. Her return was not a surprise after battered by Holm in November 2015 during their fight, which is the biggest upset seen in women’s MMA history.

She was also compared to the late boxing legend Mike Tyson in the heavyweight division of boxing during 1980’s, who becomes excited to fight again after a devastating knockout loss.

The only difference between is that Tyson already fought for 37 times already before he experienced his first loss while Rousey in only at her 12 fight when she was beaten by Holm during their match in 2015.
