Justice Not Yet Served 7 Years After The Maguindanao Massacre

Families of 58 people, including 32 members of the media, continue to scream for justice that seems so far, seven years after the dubbed as “single deadliest event in history”.

JUSTICE! The continued cry of the families of victims of the Maguindanao Massacre, seven years after the heinous killing, the dubbed as “single deadliest event in history”.

Out of the original 197 accused, 114 have been arrested, majority of whom are detained at the Quezon City Jail Annex Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City and at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center at Camp Crame.

But because of the large number of perpetrators, the court handling the multiple murder case has yet to hand down a single decision.

The 7th anniversary of the Maguindanao Massacre is observed this November 23, 2016.

The Maguindanao massacre happened during the time of former President Gloria Arroyo and former President Benigno Aquino III promised that he would give justice to the victims and their loved ones during his term but nothing was served.
