Singer-Comedian Blakdyak Found Dead Inside His House

Blakdyak was found dead inside his house in Sampaloc, Manila.

Singer-comedian Blakdyak was found lifeless inside his rented condominium unit in Sampaloc, Manila on Monday night.

According to the officials of the Philippine National Police, the son of the singer-comedian found Blakdyak lifeless at around 6 p.m.

Based on the report, his son found him in the room naked and his head is wrapped with plastic bag.

He was last seen alive at around 2:30 a.m on Monday.

As of press time, the PNP have not determined whether there was foul play in the comedian’s death, and the investigation is still ongoing.

The 46-year-old Blakdyak is a native of Zambales. He is Joseph Formoran Amoto in real life. He is the singer behind famous ’90s novelty hits, such as “Modelong Charing,” “Noon At Ngayon,” “Good Boy”, “Bikining Itim” and “Asin At Paminta.”

He also starred in several comedies such as “S2pid Luv” and “Weyt a Minut Kapeng Mainit.”

He headlined shows and gigs, and was collaborating with veteran composer Lito Camo for a new album.

He was married to Twinkle Estanislao with whom he has four children.

In 2014, he was in the news after he was arrested due to malicious mischief, alarm and scandal, and illegal possession of drug paraphernalia in his apartment in Cubao.

Despite this event, Blakdyak was able to pick himself up and resume his career.

According to Wikipedia, Blakdyak is half-Filipino and half-Barbadian and a native of Olongapo City, Zambales. He first got the title role on the film of Viva Films entitled Asin at Paminta where he worked with actor Eddie Garcia.

Hours after his death, the wife of Blakdyak, Joey Formaran in real life, expressed shock over the death of the singer-comedian.

Twinkle Estanislao-Formaran said the singer was supposed to come to work when he was found dead by his son at around 6 p.m. at his rented room in Sampaloc, Maynila.

“Dapat may gig siya tonight. Tumawag ang anak ko. Hindi ako makapaniwala na wala na siya,” she said in a report.
