After the Supreme Court decision allowing her father to be buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani, Gov. Imee Marcos admitted they have not decided regarding it yet.
Although the Supreme Court decision allowing the late former President Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani (LNMB), his daughter, Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos admitted that she has yet no idea what their family’s next step would be.
According to the lady governor, the Marcos family will still have to consult their lawyers in connection to the decision of the high court for their next course of action.
But she guaranteed that her father’s funeral would be a simple one, just like the burial of any ordinary soldier at the Heroes’ Cemetery.
Gov. Imee, however, admitted that the structure for her father’s pantheon had already been started during the time of former President Joseph Ejercito Estrada but it was not finished when petitioners opposed the plan of their family and the government for Pres. Marcos to be laid there.
