Aquino Admin Failed: P20B Yolanda Funds For 2016 Not Released

P20-B Funds For Yolanda Victims Failed To Release By Aquino Administration

Aquino Administration has failed to release 2016, P20-B housing funds for the victims of Super Typhoon Yolanda, according to Legarda.

According to the data released by a senator, the remnants of typhoon Yolanda were still struggling to find a permanent home after the typhoon devastated their old houses, especially those areas in the Central and Eastern Visayas.

P25.6 billion housing funds were allocated by Senator Loren Legarda to National Housing Authority (NHA) for the year 2016 to help the victims of Yolanda to establish their new home. As of June 2016, the previous administration was not able to release the remaining P20.7 billion housing budget.
