Senator Manny Pacquiao Takes A Brief Political Break To Fight Vargas
Manny Pacquiao takes a brief political time out to face WBO Champion Jessie Vargas at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
On Saturday (November 05, 2016), US time, the Philippine boxing superstar will face Jessie Vargas for the WBO welterweight title, so Pacquiao takes a break from politics to return to the ring. Last April 2016, Manny announced his retirement from boxing to focus on his political career, Pacquiao won last May 2016 election as senator.
Previously, Pacquiao changes his mind and decided to challenge Vargas, who has more advantage in height, reach, and 10 years younger than him. Pacquiao has a record of 58 wins, 6 losses, and 2 draws and also aims to become a 3 time WBO welterweight champion aside from being eight-division world champion.
