Three Foreigners Arrested After Caught Stealing In Grocery Items

On Tuesday (November 01, 2016), three foreign nationals were arrested after caught shoplifting in a supermarket in Quezon City.

The 3 foreigners live together in Barangay Valencia, Quezon City, and students from different universities in Manila. The foreigners were all Saudi Arabian nationals and were identified as Ammar Hamood, 20, William al-Enzi, 21, and Abdulaziz Barnawi, 20.

On Tuesday (November 01, 201), the 3 foreigners entered the supermarket on Broadway Avenue in New Manila at 7:30 pm. The foreigners place a tube of toothpaste, two deodorant bottles, two pieces of car fresheners worth over P500 inside a gray backpack.

Arrested

The security guard of the supermarket saw the suspects and ask them for a receipt of their grocery items, the suspects were detained after they failed to present their receipt, according to Case investigator George Caculba of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU) of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD).
