Arnold said he would have given this year’s election a very good race if only his candidacy was not hampered.
Austrian-American actor Arnold Schwarzenegger shocked his fans after disclosing that he could have been one of the candidates in the presidential race in the United States of America on November 2016.
Arnold said that he could have filed his candidacy only if he was eligible to be the next commander in chief of the United States.
According to the two-term California governor, who is also a member of the Republican party, if only he had come back to politics and he could run as president, he would have challenged Donald Trump for the Republican vote.
Arnold is eligible to run as American president because he was born in Austria.
“If I’d been born in America, I would’ve run. Because now? This was a very good time to get in the race”, said Schwarzenegger.
