President Digong Duterte’s recent pronouncement on Philippine – United States ties has recently created confusion but we offer to spot the difference.
Undeniably, one of the things that many Filipinos are wondering since Friday night – “what is the difference between to sever and o separate?”
The common question has popped out upon President Rodrigo Duterte’s arrival in Davao City on October 21, late Friday night, where he said that he intends the Philippines to have a separation of foreign policy from the United States of America (USA).
The latest pronouncement of the President is quite opposite from the statement he made when he was in China last week where he said that he wants to sever ties with the Philippines’ economic and military ally for seven decades.
