Super Typhoon Lawin has left the Philippines late last week and along with his departure is an approximately P2 billion damage in the agriculture sector.
Damage is what calamities usually leave the Philippines and as to Super Typhoon Lawin, it amounted to P2 billion, only in agriculture and infrastructure sectors, in Northern Luzon.
Based on the monitoring of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), Super Typhoon Lawin left an approximately P1,402,245,000 in infrastructure while an approximately P645,515,777.90 worth of damage in the agriculture sector.
Included to the regions who posted damage were the places where Super Typhoon Lawin lashed. To wit: Ilocos region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon and Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).

Meanwhile, an approximately P10,610,407 cost of assistance were distributed by Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and local government units (LGUs) to the families affected by super typhoon Lawin to four regions mentioned above.
