Duterte Endorse PNP Chief Bato For President in 2022?
PNP Chief Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa was endorsed by President Duterte to be a presidential candidate in May 2022 elections.
Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte was grooming the Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Bato Dela Rosa to run the presidential candidacy in May 2022? On Sunday (October 16, 2022), Duterte said to the Filipino community in Brunei, that his term will end in 2022 and he might consider “Bato” to be the next president.
Duterte has been the mayor of Davao City for almost 23 years since then Bato Dela Rosa became close with the Rodrigo.
Bato has served in different critical situations in Southern Mindanao such as resolving a drama hostage at the Davao Penal Colony and rescuing a kidnap victim from Quezon City that was brought in a bank in Davao City.
