For the first time since split with Angeline Jolie, Brad Pitt reportedly reunited with his children, after almost a month.
Multiple news outlets reported Thursday that Brad Pitt has finally reunited with some of his six children.
This is the first time that after nearly a month, the 52-year-old actor has seen any of his children since wife Angelina Jolie filed for divorce.
The actor and wife Angelina split up last month of September and Angelina has filed for sole physical custody of their six children.
Jolie and Pitt reached an agreement last month granting the actress full physical custody of the couple’s six children per her request in the initial filing but Pitt is allowed temporary visitation rights.
After the separation, Angelina transferred to a different mansion in order to stay away from Brad.
According to People, the “Big Short” actor and his children met Saturday, October 8. But this was under the supervision of a therapist.
The situation was per the temporary divorce agreement recommended by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) between the couple.
A source recently told People that“Brad loves his children more than anything in this world, and they matter more than anything else to him.” “He will do whatever it takes to be with them, now and always.”
As of now, the DCFS is still investigating the actor for the alleged altercation with his oldest son, 15-year-old Maddox. It allegedly occurred on a private plane last month when they were about to fly to Los Angeles.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is also reportedly continuing to gather facts and will evaluate whether an investigation at the federal level will be pursued.
Following the split, Pitt has voluntarily participated in random drug and alcohol tests, and his first reportedly came back negative.
Until their current agreement expires Oct. 20, the couple and their children will undergo family counseling.
The DCFS will then decide how to proceed, either they will implement further regulations under the advisement of an assigned social worker or send Jolie and Pitt to the court which will do the ruling.
