Agot Isidro Calls Duterte ‘Psychopath’ – Malacañang defended the President for the remarks of actress Agot Isidro calling the president a “psychopath”, as well as a comment from a French newspaper.
Presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella said as quoted by Inquirer that the French newspaper’s comment was disrespectful.
Actress Agot Isidro called President Rodrigo Duterte a ‘psychopath’ for daring the United States and Europe to withdraw its aid in the Philippines.
In Agot Isidro’s post on Facebook, she criticized the remarks given by President Duterte towards the United States and other international bodies wherein Duterte said that the Philippines can survive on its own without foreign assistance.
In a report by Inquirer, Isidro has criticized the foreign aid that the country has been receiving as “crumbs”.
“Unang-una, walang umaaway sa iyo. As a matter of fact, ikaw ang nang-aaway.
Pangalawa, yung bansa Kung saan ka inuluklok ng 16 million out of 100+ million people ay Third World. Kung makapagsalita ka parang superpower and pilipinas eh. At excuse me, ayaw namin magutom. Mag-isa ka na Lang. wag kang mandamay. Hindi na nga nakakain ang nakararami, gugutumin mo pa lalo.
“Pangatlo, may kilala akong psychiatrist. Patingin ka. Hindi ka bipolar. You are a psychopath.”
(First of all, no one’s trying to fight you. As a matter of fact, you’re the one who calls for a fight. Secondly, the country wherein you’ve been voted by 16 million out of 100+ million people is from the Third World. You’re talking as if the Philippines is a superpower. Excuse me, we don’t want to starve. You do it yourself. Many have nothing to eat, and yet you’ll starve then even more. Third, I know a psychiatrist. Get checked. You’re not a bipolar. You are a psychopath.)
Abella responded to the actress’ statement saying that the “she is entitled to her own opinion”.
“She obviously misses what (President Duterte) intends—which is to break Filipino dependence on others, and to inspire a patriotic and independent spirit,” Abella added.
