Filipino-Americans Hailed By Obama, Despite Duterte’s Tirades
Obama hails Filipino-Americans for the many ways they have enriched the society, despite Duterte’s nasty criticism against him.
On October 01, 2016 (Saturday), the US president had a special message in celebration of Filipino-American History Month. The message says that Fil-Am has been the artists who challenge them, they are also the educators who informed them and the laborers of the growing economy.
Barack also said that Fil-Am also served as the armed forces of America throughout the history and they also helped to guard their nation and the values that they believe. Obama will turn over the position of being the US president in January 2017.
Recently, Obama received Duterte’s tirades before he stepped down from his position next year. The Philippine president told him to “Go to hell” for criticizing his war on drugs. Also, last month during the ASEAN Summit held in Laos, Barack received an early tirade from Duterte resulting to the cancellation of their bilateral meeting.
