Net Satisfaction Rating Of Duterte At 64% In First 100 Days

Malacañan Palace takes pride in high net satisfaction rating that President Duterte got as he marks the first 100 days of his presidency.

The Malacañan Palace takes pride in the +64 percent net satisfaction rating of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte in his first 100 days in office.

This is according to the latest survey result of the Social Weather Stations (SWS) that was done between September 24 and 27, 2016 to 1,200 respondents from across the country.

The survey was held in the middle of the controversial statements of President Duterte against the international organizations such as United Nations (UN), European Union (EU) and the United States of America (US).

Communications Secretary Martin Andanar said that this is highest 100-day satisfaction rating ever recorded since President Fidel Ramos got a 66 percent.

According to Andanar, it mirrors the happiness and contentment of the people in the performance of Pres. Duterte in his first three months in office.

“64% public satisfaction rating in the first 3 months in office. Ito po ang pinakamataas mula noong nakakuha po si Presidente Ramos ng 66%. Kaya ito’y sumasalamin lamang na ang ating taumbayan ay masaya at satisfied nga dahil natutuwa sa naging performance po ng ating Pangulong Duterte sa unang tatlong buwan po ng kaniyang panunungkulan”, said Sec. Andanar.

(This is the highest so far since President Ramos got a 66%. This only shows that the people are happy and satisfied with the performance of President Duterte in his first three months in office.)

Some former presidents also got a “very good” rating in their first three months. These include Former Presidents Benigno Aquino III and Joseph Ejercito Estrada who both got 60 percent while the late Former President Corazon Aquino got 53 percent.

Former President and now Pampanga 2nd District Congresswoman Gloria Macapagal Arroyo got 24 percent which is rated as “moderate”.

In a separate trust rating conducted by the SWS from June 24 to 27, just before the inauguration of Duterte, he got a net trust rating of +79 percent.

84 percent of the respondents said that they have “much trust”, 11 percent were “undecided” and five percent said that have a “little trust” in him.
