The president blames the yellows for the continuing interference of the United Nations and the United States to the affairs of the Philippines.
President Rodrigo Duterte is convinced that the interference of the United Nations Organization (UN) and the United States of America (US) to the domestic affairs of the Philippines was plotted by the yellows.
The yellows refer to the officials and loyalists of the Liberal Party which started to gain support since the reign of the late former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino, or after the 1986 People Power Revolution, upto the regime of her son, former President Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III.
According to Pres. Duterte, the UN and US intervention on the issue on human rights violations in the Philippines since the intensified war against illegal drugs is a ‘signature game’ of the yellows.
