Repatriated OFW Sell Own Paintings As Source of Income

Repatriated OFW sell own painting as a source of income upon his arrival in the country on Monday (September 05, 2016) when he loses his job in Saudi Arabia.

A stranded OFW in Saudi Arabia named Jhun Templa is eight months jobless in Saudi so he spent his time by painting different sceneries. He also paints to relieve the loneliness and the sadness that he feels for being jobless abroad.

Because he is jobless he paints to gain money and sell his paintings upon his arrival in the country. Jhun looks for a job opportunity in Saudi Arabia but in an unexpected situation, he fails to find a stable job due to slump in oil prices.

Templa said that he had no salary for eight months so he decided to paint in case there’s someone who will buy his paintings. Because of being lonely he also felt homesickness being away from his family and friends. Through his painting, he staved off loneliness for several months.
