Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla will fly to the US this month as preparation to giving birth.
Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla saw a need to prepare for giving birth to her first child after having a delicate pregnancy.
Rodriguez, after suffering from two miscarriages, is due to give birth sometime in November.
She will be giving birth to a baby girl.
Few days ago, Rodriguez and husband Robin Padilla held a successful baby shower.
After this, Rodriguez revealed that she will be leaving later this month pf September for the United States where she will give birth, two months from now.
In an interview on Saturday, Padilla explained that he and Rodriguez decided to be in the US because of the delicate pregnancy of the TV host.
“Una, siyempre kailangan malaman ng karamihan na ‘yun pong pagbubuntis ni Mariel ay napakadelikado. Iyan po ang isa sa mga pagsubok na dinadaanan ni Mariel. Hindi naman po namin sinasabi na hindi kaya dito iyan sa Pilipinas. Kaya!” he said.
“Pero nandoon ang technology. Nandoon kaagad. Huwag na natin hintayin na nandiyan ang problema bago tayo aaksyon. Nandoon na eh kaya mas pinili namin na doon siya para naka-stand by ang lahat,” Padilla explained.
Rodriguez said she can’t predict yet until when they are going to stay in the United States because it will all depend on the condition of the baby.
“I think the baby deserves that, ‘yung 100% full attention maibibigay namin sa baby. We prayed so hard for this. I think the baby deserves it na ‘yung attention mo 100% nasa kanya, maaalagaan mo siya, matututukan mo talaga siya,” she said.
Asked if they will immediately share a photo of their daughter on social media right after Rodriguez gives birth, Padilla said: “Wala namang problema doon pero huwag na muna. In time.”
Meanwhile, Padilla shared that his son and daughters are already looking forward to meeting baby Isabella.
“Yung mga babae natutuwa sila na babae. Si Ali, gusto niya lalaki kasi gusto niya magkaroon ng kapatid na lalaki. Pero ang importante natuloy na. Nalungkot din sila nung [nagka-miscarriage si Mariel],” he said.
