LTO System Malfunction Shut down Transactions Nationwide
LTO system malfunction shut down transactions nationwide for two hours on Thursday morning (September 01, 2016).
Land Transportation Office (LTO) shut down all of its transactions nationwide due to malfunction of Information Technology (IT) of the agency. After two hours of resolving the problem, the system was restored before 10:30 am on Monday morning.
“All I can say as of now, at 10:28 am the system was able to restore by the technicians. The IT provider searched for the cause of the problem and made an alternative solution to prevent this kind of problem next time.” LTO Chief Edgardo Galvante said to GMA News.
Due to the trouble occur in the system of LTO all the transactions nationwide causes delay to all clients. A separate advisory was announced by Department of Transportation (DOTr) to reschedule the transactions of all motorists and not to proceed on LTO office nationwide due to system malfunction.
