PNP General Dela Rosa: Aquino Admin Mostly Spend Funds For Rewards
PNP (Philippine National Police) General Dela Rosa said that the Aquino administration spent most of intelligence funds to capture criminals in terms of rewards.
“The problem in our intelligence funds here in the PNP, is there sufficient amount of intelligence funds but the problem is the priority where this fund goes. Most of our funds goes to pay worth million of rewards just to capture those criminals,” Dela Rosa said.
A large amount of reward will be given to those who will capture terrorists as he told the reporters after the senate meeting. He also said that because of this, the operation of police intelligence is suffering.
“The fund was sacrificed for the intelligence operations but the other operation cannot be fully supported due to lack of funds,” he said. “If they want to a high success rate of operations spend the funds for the operating units and don’t limit it only for rewards,” he added.
