Wildfire Near California’s Big Sur Coast Drive Away From Home
Yesterday (August 03, 2016) a wildfire in California burns deeply into the forest away from the populated area of the place. The wildfire burning well on its second week is trying to subside by the crew fighting the fire.
The extreme summer heat in western United States increased the intensity of the wildfire in the region. The season was called Soberanes blaze in its traditional peak.
According to the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise, Idaho the wildfire was reported blistered 700 sq. miles or 1,813 sq. kilometers in 12 states. There are almost 30 wildfire was recorded burning in different places in the region for almost 13 days and the one in Big Sur is included.
Forecaster Paul Pastelok said “It’s bad now and it’s going to get worse.” On Tuesday the authorities traced that the illegal campfire left unattended at the state park a mile away from Highway 1, south of Carmel by the Sea is the origin of the Soberanes blaze.
