Pirated DVD’s Worth P100-M Confiscated in Quiapo.
Tuesday, August 02, 2016, P100-M worth of pirated DVD’s were confiscated yesterday in by the authorities.
National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) and joined forces by Optical Media Board executed raid on stalls selling pirated DVD’s at Quiapo last Tuesday. The authorities also found duplicating machines in one of the stall that they have raid.
The authorities were asked by a woman proclaiming as a lawyer to stop the raid but the authorities did not listen to her. “Imagine You and Me” starring by the love team Aldub with Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza. It is only one among the 800 sacks of pirated DVD’s that were confiscated.
The campaign against film piracy here in our country will be strengthened. Spreading of pirated DVD’s in our country is so alarming in our industry.
