President Duterte Set a Party For the Informal Settlers
President Duterte attended the party he had set for the informal settlers at the Barangay 76-A, in Davao City last night (July 29, 2016).
More than 22 informal settlers are invited to the party; most of the attendees were women and children. Upon the arrival of the president in the party, the attendees have warm greetings for him.
A few months ago Duterte tells the informal settlers that there will be “No relocation, no demolition”. A lot of people and netizens have a negative feedback on him saying “It is unfair for the middle class who respect land ownership and boundaries for they are paying taxes for their land”. For these people, they consider president’s decision was unfair for the land owner.
The president promised the people to give informal settlers a new relocation site for them. He will give a lot for each family that has no permanent home.
