Pacman’s promise seems like the another headline in the field of sports news following the promoter of the People’s Champ announcement that the boxer will soon be on the ring again for another fight.
Recently, Bob Arum, Pacquaio’s promoter, made a statement that the Filipino boxer’s next match has already been set and the venue is already final. Las Vegas is the venue of his next match with the unannounced opponent.
After news about the continuation of his boxing career, a lot of people have aired out their opinions on the People’s Champ next move considering that he now owns a spot in the senate and is responsible of serving the country.
Many held on to his promise way back during election period which was even noted by Christina P. Goss, retired educator in Pittsburgh Public Schools, Pennsylvania, USA, that he will be leaving the ring to fulfill his duties in the political arena.
The statement of Goss was published by Inquirer and in the statement there was a recognition that Francis Tolentino could have gotten the spot if Sen. Manny Pacquaio would have spoken with honesty.
