Eleven Mayors in South Cotabato have come out in public to prove their innocence.
Eleven Mayors Have come out and publicly denied the involvement in any illegal drug trade in South Cotabato. To prove their innocence, the Eleven Mayors are willing to take a drug test.
According to a report, the President of the League of Municipalities in the province, Mayor Reynaldo Tamayo said to an interview that they are victims of Trial by Publicity.
The Eleven Mayors decided to come out and deny the allegations about the involvement in illegal drug trade. They publicly faced the media because of the amid rumors of having links to narcotics syndicate.
According to Mayor Tamayo in an interview, He said that mayors have already been judged and they want to prove their innocence. They are willing to take the dug test because people can drop and report their names as protectors of drug lords in their respective municipalities.
