Territorial Dispute: Are We Prepared For War?

Territorial dispute is biggest problem that the world faces.

Territorial dispute is now leading the whole world to a complicated situation. The dispute over territory and sovereignty over ocean areas was not enforced after China rejected the U.N. Arbitral tribunal.

China is unwilling to give up and participate in the Arbitration Proceedings.  Philippines’ victory is only one phase in settling a decades-long dispute over the West Philippine Sea.

Beijing is not abiding the international order and still blocking Filipinos from fishing in the areas that they claimed they owned.

According to a report, the U.S. is backing up its positions with an ever-increasing presence of warships sailed within the 12 nautical miles of the dispute island in the South China Sea to assert freedom of navigation and drawing a protest from Beijing.

The pentagon spokesman Jeff Davis said to an interview that they already conducted freedom of navigation operation in the South China Sea. The US destroyer sailed the island which claimed by China and reported that there were no Chinese navy ships in the area.

Tension about the conflict already reached the boiling point as the Beijing responded to the move or the “innocent passage” of the US.

According to foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said to an interview, the America violated the Chinese law that entered the China’s territorial waters without authorization. The situation is being deliberately observed as its arises into another conflict between the two parties.

There is plenty of worry that war could really happen because of the dispute of the South China Sea. As territorial Dispute is potentially harmful.
