China Defies The Ruling

China defies the Hague international order in West Philippine Sea dispute.

China Defies the ruling of the dispute of the West Philippine Sea. China boycotted the case and prefer the one-on one negotiation to settle the conflict.

China declared that the ruling was null and and void and its a piece waste of paper. U.N Arbitral Tribunal case did not affect the China actions.

Beijing rejected the case and prefer not follow the ruling. According to a report, China prefers to have a one-on-one negotiations to settle the conflict and to have a clear understanding about the territorial dispute.

According to a report of ABS-CBN TV network, China are still claiming the sea after a Filipino fishing boat was blocked by the Chinese guard ships in the dispute Scarborough Shoal on Thursday. One video the network aired showed the Filipino fishing ships are being blocked form entering to fish and the Filipino ships were tailed by a white Chinese coast guard ship.

Another video showed the Chinese coast guard personnel using a bullhorn and ordering the Filipinos to leave “this area immediately. Fishermen still questions the ruling that has been declared by the U.N. Arbitral Tribunal that it has no effects.

Mayor Arsenia Lim of the northwestern town of Masinloc where the fishermen live. The mayor is now doing some actions toward the incident.

Based from the China’s actions, they did not accept nor recognize the long-awaited ruling. Despite that The Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague ruled that there was no legal basis for China to claim historic rights within the areas.
