Young actor Jerome Ponce who made a name for himself when he was introduced in the top-rating series “Be Careful With My Heart” admitted during an interview with ABS-CBN that he has a crush on his new love team partner Loisa Andalio since her days as a teen housemate on “Pinoy Big Brother.”
The revelations of Jerome Ponce was made during a press conference for the highly anticipated “Wansapanataym Presents: Candy’s Crush,” which marks their first TV project in the Kapamilya Channel as a love team.
Ponce also revealed that he could not approached Loisa Andalio because she was being linked to fellow teen housemate Joshua Garcia during and after the reality show, so Jerome decided to settled for being friends with Loisa. Jerome, Loisa and Joshua even worked together in the defunct afternoon soap “Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita.”
When Loisa Andalio was asked about her reactions on the revelations that Jerome had a crush on her, she just replied with the following statement: “Nabigla ako doon.” “Kasi si Jerome palagi niya akong inaasar na parang nang ti-trip lang kaya di ko ini-expect na may crush siya sa akin,” she added.
The young actor Jerome Ponce said he is enjoying working with Andalio. “Enjoy lang talaga ako dahil open eh, wala akong inisip na malisya. Wala akong inisip na parang ginagamit ko ‘yung work para kausapin siya. It’s just eto siguro ‘yung ibinibigay sa aming chance (to work),” Ponce said.
Ponce and Loisa Andalio said that they are both single. The TV show featuring Jerome and Loisa titled “Wansapanataym Presents: Candy’s Crush” will start airing on June 26.
