Philippine Airlines headed by Lucio Tan and Cebu Pacific headed by Lance Gokongwei, are the two known largest air carriers in the Philippines, both offering domestic and international flights. Both of them as its own set of disadvantages and advantages.

And speaking of these two air carrier giants in the country, it is already no doubt why Cebu Pacific coined its popular slogan “Why everyone flies” because it is a very budget-friendly airline. On the other hand, PAL as being the pioneer and the flag carrier of the country, it is the 13th largest corporation in the Philippines when it comes to revenue and being the 21st largest in terms of assets.

Either of the two, although being close contenders and not so perfect and sometimes experiencing mishaps, both are striving to be on the top gaining the most domestic and international traffic.

  1. Ganyan talaga ang Pinoy, yong original na mayaman, ordinaryo lang kung kumilos, hindi astang sosyal pero yong ordinaryong Pinoy na nagkapera or yumaman, yon ang matapobre at pasosyal kung umasta. May bago pa ba?

  2. You have to get real here. I think it is a ” Publicity stunt”!! Pero siguro I can agree with some of the comments that he mingles with ordinary people. Kaya Lang mahirap pa rin makapaniwala na isang Pilipinong bilyonaryo ay ginagawa iyon. To be fair with the issue of delays in both airlines, I think the responsibility goes to the Government’s infrastructures. As mentioned, I think it is about time to move the country forward especially in Tourism which can create thousands of jobs. And that is only one minute part of making our country Great again as what our Great Heroes died for.
