The Arctic sea and the Greenland ice sheet started the unusual melting early. That was an abnormal heat experienced in the Arctic according to NASA record.

On the other hand, other regions like Alaska, recorded its warmest spring with a wide margin on record. In Finland, the data from the Finnish Meteorological Institute showed that the average May temperature went unusual with degrees ranging between three and five. Australia to experience its warmest autumn on record.

The director of Geneva’s World Climate Research Programme, David Carlson indicated that, “The state of the climate so far this year gives us much cause for alarm.” He emphasized that the super El Nino is only partly to blame, hence the “Abnormal is the new normal”

Meteorologists sticks the blame to the greenhouse gases emitted from human activities which remains as the underlying cause for this weather abnormalities. Also, the climate situations is linked to the El Nino weather pattern which could factored into 2016’s record-setting heat.

Because of the occurrence, there are noticeably changes on the normal weather trends, including abnormally heavy rains throughout Europe and the southern United States, as well as “widespread and severe” coral reef bleaching.
