Kyle Lowry scored with an impressive 35 points as the Raptors made history in the NBA by being the first Canadian team to enter the NBA Finals.
Aside from Kyle Lowry NBA-All Star DeMar DeRozan stole the show in the Heat vs. Raptors game as he finished with 28 points and eight rebounds and won convincingly against the former NBA Champion coached by the Filipino-American mentor Erik Spoelstra.
The Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat game ended with the final score of 116-89 in favor of the Raptors, the game was held at the Air Canada Center in Toronto, Canada. Aside from Lowry and DeRozan, Congolese center Bismack Biyomobo also had a big game high by scoring 17 points and grabbing 16 rebounds, and blocking two shots against the Miami Heat.
Miami Heat’s Goran Dragic and Dwyane Wad led the scoring for Miami with 16 points apiece while Justice Winslow finished with 4 points, Joe Johnson added with 13 and Luol Deng contributed with 12 points.
The Game one of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Toronto Raptors and Cleveland Cavaliers will take place in Cleveland on Tuesday.
The Raptors have been through two marathon seven-game series to reach the conference finals while Cleveland will head into the series well rested after clinching back-to-back 4-0 sweeps in the previous rounds.
