PNP And AFP Ready To Help Meeting Duterte’s Deadline Against Criminals
Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) recently announced their support and help to the presumptive President Rodrigo Duterte in order to meet the three to six months versus criminals.
In a report in Manila Times, PNP spokesman, Chief Supt. Wilben Mayor, said during a joint police and military news briefing in Camp Crame that it is “within the powers of the newly elected President to give directives to the police and the military in fulfilling their mandated tasks.”
Seeing the huge margin of Duterte to his rivals from the partial results of the votes from the COMELEC transparency server and the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), Duterte has been presumed to be the 16th President of the Republic of the Philippines.
According to Mayor, the PNP would instantly obey the orders that will be issued by the upcoming President.
Also, from the AFP, spokesman Brig. Gen. Restituto Padilla said that they are “more than ready to cooperate and serve” whoever will be their next Commander-in-Chief.
Padilla said that the military forces aim to “protect the sanctity of the electoral process in the country to ensure that the people will elect the leader of their choice.”
Padilla and Marquez believe that unlike Duterte’s statements during his campaign sorties, he will follow due process in dealing with these criminals.
With regards to the elections, Padilla added that the whole world is watching the Philippines and waiting for the results of the elections joined by the 100 million Filipinos locally and worldwide.
What might be the actions of the AFP and the PNP with regards to Duterte’s command?

This is a virtual revelation that these agencies will do their best to make a peaceful cities and towns, believing their power to help stop criminality. And this shows how inept and dysfunction the past presidents are. This show how the former governments have failed to stop criminality, corruptions and other toxic realities in our society. True, as the saying goes in our own dialect: “may katapusan ang lahat”. (“there is an end for everything.”) And President-elect Duterte is the catalyst for a radical change.Hail to President Duterte for bringing sanity into the system.
Very well said.

My hopes are for my children. I always stressed with them ” be proud of your philippino heritage, there are many things to be proud of.And when its your turn ,do something good for your country. I am hoping this new leader is the real deal. I know its not realistic that he can solve all the problems of the country, But maybe he can show future generations the old political process has been choking the life out of this country since the 40s and self rule was reinstated. He has a very captive audience, I want my children to be part of a great generation.A rebuilding of the economy, but most of all, a restructuring of a very corrupt ,old political system, that has stagneted growth and progress in the country
