Quaker Oatmeal Facing Lawsuit

Quaker Oatmeal Is Now Facing Lawsuit After Allegedly using Glyphosate

Quaker Oatmeal company faces lawsuit after using glyphosate.

Quaker

Yes they are being sued because they consider their product as an all-natural but is exactly the opposite.

But the company defended by stating that their branded oatmeal was wrongly labeled as “100% branded natural”.

Sad to say, it was all a lie. But defending that they have been using pesticides to protect the growing oats and keep them away from pests.

The real issue is not bout the pesticides, actually – the label “natural” is misleading the public and does not mean anything serious.

the term “natural” is being redundant and misused for several years now, it is now misleading to know that such product is “natural”.

The New York Times reports that glyphosate found in the product were low, and that it is completely safe to eat.

Quaker

On the other hand, Quaker responded quickly stating that they never did intend to put glyphosate during the process of making the product.

Also, they clean the oats thoroughly but very tiny amounts are traced because of the process.

But health authorities labeled glyphosate as a possible carcinogen, warning the consumers to the public.

The suit was filed in California and New York, and tests were conducted on Quaker Oats Quick 1 minute products, Quaker Oats Old-Fashioned, and Quaker Steel Cut Oats sweet Almond Mint.

The case aims to have refunds for consumers and wants Quaker to give assurance of health and change its way of production, reports say.

This has been an eye-opener to all people and to those who are conscious to be healthy, always read the label, research, and research is the best way to have a healthier living.
