The former child star Camille Prats shared her reasons why she will be voting for the Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte as the next president. She took her official Facebook page to share her thoughts about the tough-talking politician.
The star of “Sarah… Ang Munting Prinsesa” used the largest social media site on Wednesday to show her support for the presidential frontrunner.
On the Facebook post, Camille Prats said that she is putting her vote and her son’s future to Rodrigo Duterte because she believes in his capabilities to lead the country.
“As a woman and as a mother, I am putting my vote, my son’s future and all my hopes for our country on Mayor Duterte as the leader of our country,” she wrote.
Prats also said that although many people looks at Duterte as an immoral person, she still thinks that she will have a lot of contribution to women’s rights just like what he did in his hometown.
“At bilang isa sa mga libo libong kababaihan na may pinaglalaban, kahit na maraming tao ang paningin sakanya ay immoral, naniniwala ako that he will contribute to the welfare and advocacy of women’s rights, the way he did in Davao.
Lastly, Prats also said that while they condemn acts that are offensive, they will still support the candidate who will contribute for the development of the country.
Prats is one of the celebrities who openly supports Duterte. Other celebrities who support the presidential candidate are Robin Padilla, Angelica Panganiban, Angelica Dela Cruz, Kristine Hermosa, Oyo Sotto, and Mocha Girls, among others.
