Duterte’s Son Baste Wants a Simple Life Once Dad Wins

Mayor Duterte’s son Sebastian “Baste” Duterte wants a simple life once his father, Mayor Rody Duterte will win in the highly anticipated 2016 national election. The youngest son of Mayor Duterte may soon be part of the new First Family if the surveys are indication but the humble son of the mayor wants to maintain his simple status.

In an interview with ABS-CBN, the 28-year-old Baste Duterte was quoted as saying “Okay lang sa akin kahit ano pero sa totoo lang, as much as possible sana ma-maintain ko lang yung buhay ko na simple lang,” Sebastian, 28, told ABS-CBN News prior to the final presidential debate on Sunday.

Baste Duterte also believes that his father will be able to weather the various issues thrown at him by his opponents in the presidential race particularly the bad-mouthing of his father which was used as instruments by his opponents to put a bad impression on the Davao City mayor, who is now considered as the leading presidential candidate.

Mayor Duterte’s son have been busy for the past few days campaigning for his father, he event visited the OFW’s in Hong Kong together with Robin Padilla to urged the OFWs to vote for his father whose plans to stop crime and corruption within his first 3-6 months of service as President drew some negative comments from his opponents.

Duterte’s son Sebastian “Baste” Duterte also scheduled to visit Bantayan island today, April 26, for a grand rally at the public plaza followed by a highly anticipated motorcade and caravan passing all the three towns of Bantayan island on Wednesday, April 27, 2016.
