During the third and last presidential debates, netizens lambasts Karen Davila for the controversial “Fast Talk” segment wherein every presidential candidates were allowed only to answer a “Yes or No” and explain their answer briefly. Netizens wondered how could Mayor Duterte answer a question that says “Who is your biggest campaign contributor?”

In a Facebook Page Puro Kagaguhan, netizens shared their sentiments and lambasts Karen Davila for her alleged inappropriate question to the leading presidential candidate, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.
According to Facebook user Dodz Alagaban the Yes or No question was just made up by Karen Davila because she was the one who stated that question will be answerable by a yes or no but she asks for name.

Dodz Alagaban: Gawa2x nlang ni karen yan na personal na tanong! Sya pa mismo nagsabi na yes or no lang ang sagot dn nagtanong sya ng pangalan! Pati ABSCBN host palpak kagaya ng panot administration.
Mario Veraque: Oo nga no? Kala nyo bias makakalusot kayo kay president namin ah?
Despite the backlash received by Karen Davila online, some of her fans and supporters defended her because according to them, the veteran journalist is a “Pro-Duterte” and already defended the mayor during one of her shows.
Based upon the full transcript of the Presidential debate, veteran journalist and TV host explained how candidate should answer the “Fast Talk.”
She was quoted as saying “Tuloy po ang Presidential Town Hall Debate. Ang susunod po nating segment ngayon ay tinagurian o tinawag po nating Fast Talk. Sa mga kandidato, may dalawang minuto po kayo. Marami po kami ni Tony na itatanong. Masasagot nyo ito sa yes or no. O kung nais nyong magpaliwanag, isang linya lamang po.” she stated.

Duterte: Yes, ma’am.
