Miriam Defensor-Santiago Says She’s ‘Perfectly Normal Now’
After weeks of being not active on her campaign, Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago finally released a statement that she is resuming her race for Presidency.
On her Facebook page, the Sen. Miriam released a video expressing her thanks to all her supporters as well as to say that she is healthy again. She said in the video that her health has improved greatly after her travel abroad to attend an international clinical trial about a new anti-canc3r medication.
This is what the Senator have said:
“Ang gusto ko lang malaman ninyo na gusto ring malaman ng taumbayan ay bumalik na ang kalusugan ko dahil sa meron akong bagong gamot na wala pa ngang pangalan kung hindi code lang na nagpapalit ng personalidad ng may c@ncer at ibinabalik dati sa personalidad ng normal na tao.”
[I just want you to know, as well as the people, that my health is now restored because of a new medicine that I have that still has no name, only a code that changes the nature of some who has canc3r and brings it back to the normal one.]

“So I’m perfectly normal now, as you can tell just from my voice and the way I speak, I think,” Santiago added.
Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago also said that she is happy with the reports her supporters are giving on social media that “many people are switching sides”.
Sen. Miriam is said to be lagging in surveys as well as the number of campaign sorties, unlike the other presidential candidates.
She also hopes that she will still be supported by people in order to “go to Malacañang [Palace] together.”
